How do you like my new layout and title?

SO, I was hanging out with 'Aainaa, Maine and her friends in Bangsar last night. Conversation was good, food was alright until Dina said something about me. Something that no one in this world has uttered to me before.

"Yasir is a gentleman..."

There you go ladies and gentlemen, I've officially been pimped as a gentleman. Wow... no I mean it. Big ass fucking WOW!! You see, I've never seen myself of that sort. So when someone calls me a gentleman, I'm sort of entering a new realm.

Let me share with you a little bit about my past. I used to be an ASS. I was like the Chief Purveyor of Ass. Simply put, I used to treat girls like shit. Here's an example:

In 2005, I got to know this girl through Yahoo Messenger. Everything was fine and dandy until our first date. We went to the movies and had dinner. She was feeling kinda hot, so she took off her cardigan and for a minute, I really thought she was Wolverine's stunt double. Her arms were hairy and not being able to hold back my disbelief, I decided to end the date and send her home. On the way back, I didn't say a single word to her except for "goodbye..".

The next day, she texted me. Little did she know that I've stepped on the gas pedal, punched the NOS button and vanished into MIA land. But don't get me wrong. I'm not proud of how I treated her and I could've replied to her messages.

So that's the kind of person that I was before. Shit, I used to go about with my life with this phrase emblazoned across my chest:

"Yes I Love Ass and Flings That Don't Last"

Fast forward to 2008 and here I am. A different man. I now treasure people around me, especially my girlfriend. Through her I find that I can really be Yasir Yusoff. I can be true. There's no need to play foolish games anymore because deep down, I have someone that truly loves me.

Hooorahhh!! I've managed to get me balls on this stupid chair and my hands on this stiff, black and unergonomic keyboard. All to feed a new post to my shitty blog. This time around, I wanna talk about one of my favourite hobbies since I was a small kid - Video Games. Yes, I'm turning 25 this year and I still play. Ain't nothing wrong with that!

So, I've listed down all the consoles that I've laid my grubby hands on. Mind you, the list dates back all the way to the 80's. So bear with me.



1987 - Atari

My dad got me this classic machine when I was 5 or so. Favorite game? That fishing game. Ahhh, the good ol' days.


1990 - Super Famicom

This one is a tad funny coz Super Famicom is a direct rip off from Nintendo Entertainment System. Since it was cheap, my mum bought it for me and my brother since we got some pretty decent grades for our exams. Favourite game? A lot because my parents kept on buying the 10000000 in 1 cartridges. Heh!



1994 - Computer Al-Aqlah

This one is even funnier! In December 1994, my dad was posted to UK as a diplomat. So on the way there, we stopped at Mecca to perform umrah. We bought the console at this dingy game shop. Once in London, I plugged the machine in, only to see smoke coming out of it. I didn't know machines from the Middle East are addicted to Sisha.


1995 - Super Nintendo Entertainment System

This is the time when 16-bit consoles used to rule. We bought this legendary console at a Dixons outlet at Kilburn High Street. Favourite game? Donkey Kong.


1997 - Sega Saturn

To this day, I still don't know why I picked this console over Sony Playstation. It was a flop due to some marketing complications and that made me switch to buy the Playstation. I still had some fun with it though. Favourite game? Panzer Dragoon.

1997 - Sony Playstation

I traded my Saturn for this one at Computer Exchange at Rathbone Place in London. Fav game? Final Fantasy 7. The greatest game ever.

1998 - Nintendo 64

I sold my Playstation set and got this one instead. Fav game? Star Fox 64.

2000 - Sega Dreamcast

Got this one for my birthday. The only reason I bought it was to play Shenmue. (As you can see, I'm getting lazier to type)

2003 - PS2

I used up all of my student loan to bag this baby. As a result, I had to tell my father that I didn't receive any money from PTPTN for that semester. As the saying goes, a gamer has got to do what a gamer has got to do. Stories aside, my fav game would have to be Madden.

2007 - PS3

Forked out RM2000 at Sungei Wang. I'm still waiting to play Metal Gear Solid 4. Urghhhhh!

The Perfect First Post

Inspired by the perfect girl.

Just so you know, this is my second blog. I don't know what happened to the first one. It just vanished into thin air. Just like that. Maybe the blog gave up on me and died of famine.

Anywhoodle (yes I love this word), The Nameless Blog is my second attempt at blogging. Honestly, I don't know how long this fad will last and don't be surprised if this first post ends up as my last one. So don't even bother to tag this url to your blog.

Today, I want to pen down about someone that means the world to me. She goes by the name of 'Aainaa.

'Aainaa, I love:

1. When you call me in the morning. Nothing else matters when I hear your voice.

2. When you do your Penyu face.

3. To follow you to Lavinas. I get all fuzzy when I see you getting your hair done. Deep down I would say "She's my girl..."

4. When you grab me a glass of 100 Plus whenever I'm at your house. Or whip me a quick Maggee.

5. When you just stare and smile at me.

6. When I listen to Marie Digby's song. I forgot the title but all I can think of is you.

7. When you introduce me as your boyfriend to new people in my life.

8. When you hug me. It calms me.

9. When you sleep at the movies. Sometimes, I'd throw quick glances at you and smile.

10. Waking up next to you. It's the best feeling ever.
